Halloween has now been and gone which means two things, the season has now changed and its officially Winter (whoohoo) and the second thing is we can start officially talking about Christmas.
So I’ve done a little research into what I can find going on in the next couple of weeks in Gibraltar and on the Costa del Sol.
Christmas market and rhyme time –Mundo Mania Estepona
On Saturday 16th November Mundo Mania is holding a small businesses Christmas market featuring some local businesses on the costa del sol.
Open from 10.30am you can expect to see…
Marbella Card Studio who are also doing Christmas Eve boxes, Nana Rosies hand decorated cookies, Eco Passion, Sueños que Molan, Mil & Clo and possibly a few other small businesses.
Rhyme Time will still be on at 11.30 with the meal deal option.
BCSG Christmas party at Cancer Relief Centre -Gibraltar
Are having their annual Christmas Tea Party on Thursday 21st November, a great opportunity for a get together before the busy Christmas period.

Christmas Market –Gibraltar
Located on Line Wall Road, Boulevard you’ll be able to find market huts selling handmade items ideal for Christmas as well as festive and local food.
Running right up until the 24th December with the first night being Thursday 21st November opening at 5pm with entertainment, Christmas goodies, chestnuts, mince-pies, mulled wine and much more.
NOTE: the market will then be open between 12pm and 9pm every wed:, Thu: and Fri: also 10am till 9pm every Saturday.

Children‘s Christmas Fun Fair -Gibraltar
As like every year this will be held in John Mackintosh Square and consists of fair rides for children. Most years there has been one or two free days where there is no charge for the rides however nothing has been said as to if this is happening this year or what the dates will be but I will update ‘here’ as soon as I find any information out. This year it will be running as of the 22nd November through till the 12th January.
Christmas Festival of Lights -Gibraltar
On Friday 22nd November 2019 as from 6pm at Casemates Square you will be able to see the traditional switch-on of the Christmas lights.
You can also expect to see a special appearance by Father Christmas and his elves which makes for an exciting family evening out.
A full programme of events will be released so as soon as I see the programme I’ll be sure to update ‘here’.
The Convent Christmas Fair -Gibraltar
The convent Christmas fair will be hosted this year on Thursday 28th November with the doors opening at 12pm and an entrance fee of £2 per adult and children over the age of 12, under 12’s are free.
You will be able to find stalls containing crafts, gifts, Christmas cards and much more as well as a cafe offering cakes, scones, coffee and tea.
Father Christmas will also be making an appearance in his grotto as of 2pm.

Malaga Christmas Light switch on 2019 -Malaga
The spectacular Christmas light switch on will happen on Friday 29th November at 7pm in Calle Larios and then every night after at 6.30, 8 and 9.30pm with the lights flashing to music.

The Lavish Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Market -Kempinski Hotel Estepona
On the 30th November from 12 till 8pm At the Black Rose Bar you can enjoy the switching on of the Christmas tree lights by no other than Father Christmas and get to walk around their annual Christmas Market.
Entrance is completely free and children are welcome, below is more information
