10 weeks have already passed since my last pregnancy update and to be honest I have neglected my blog, which I’m quite upset with myself about. I was wanting to write as many pregnancy related blogs as I could not only to share with you my pregnancy but also to have it written down as I know I will forget all the little parts of pregnancy and being my last baby it would have been nice to have it all written down; but life gets in the way and unfortunately I couldn’t find the motivation to sit and write which saying it like that sounds so silly. Anyhow.
30 weeks pregnant and so many things have changed since my last update at 20 weeks.
So I’m going to do a quick update from weeks 20-28 weeks before posting my 30 week update in the next few days…
♡ First thing is my tummy has grown quite a bit which is an obvious thing to have happened but I don’t remember actually gaining as much weight with the other boys as I have with this pregnancy, not that its something that bothers me.
♡ On the 23rd July I had my 20 week scan which had to be repeated as the sonographer couldn’t get all the measurements of baby which she needed but on the second scan everything measured as it should have.
♡ We found out baby number 6 is a BOY!
♡ I had to have a scan in clinic Gutenberg in Malaga due to Oliver having a heart condition, they were really good and very thorough putting our mind at ease that the little one should be born without the same condition.
♡ I saw the consultant regarding if I needed to be started on Clexane at 28 weeks of pregnancy due to having a blood condition called Factor V Leiden which was discovered after my last child was born and it was decided I should; I will talk about that more in depth in another post.
♡ I have to have three growth scans just to make sure everything is going well with baby, to be honest I’m not sure why I’m having growth scans but I’m definitely not complaining at getting to see baby three extra times. I’ve had my first growth scan which was a little over two weeks ago and baby was on the 49th percentile weighing just over 2lb so everything is looking great.
25 weeks and my summer maternity clothes are getting a little small and I’m realising I have put on some extra weight especially around the tops of my legs.
Sat here at 30 weeks pregnant I know I can get bigger which at 25 weeks I didn’t think I could! (above post)
26 weeks pregnant and as you can read from the above post I wasn’t sleeping very well and I’m still not, I’m finding myself constantly waking up to pee and also every time I need to turn over in bed I’m waking to do so which means I’m waking tired in the morning; never a good thing when you have a school run and a very active toddler.
28 weeks and the post above says exactly how I was feeling.
The summer here in Gibraltar seemed to have not only gone on forever, with the children being off of school for 3 months but also it was extremely hot, not that its winter here now but it has cooled down slightly especially in the mornings.
I’m going to leave it there and start writing my 30 week update so be sure to look for an update over the next few days.
